stavka Posted Thursday at 04:41 PM Posted Thursday at 04:41 PM Hello, I have the Il-2 GB (with almost all DLCs) and now Il-2 Korea, both have a strange behaviour with the mouse on menus. The mouse speed/sensibility are ok until the login screen (included) after i enter on both simulators (GB or Korea) after the login and going on in-game menus, the mouse move so so so fast thats almost impossible to control and get to tiny icons. The mouse sensibility on windows are at the most low setting. If for example in menus i press the Win-Key and are with windows bottom bar i see the IL2 menus mouse moving normally and ok, but when i click on the mouse buttom to make it the active window, the mouse goes wild again. I really hope this issue are fixed in both sims. Razer Cobra mouse + Win 11. (when i had the Il-2 GB on Win10 it not had that issue even with the same mouse and mouse settings) Thank You so much!!!! 1 1
Gunfreak Posted Thursday at 05:19 PM Posted Thursday at 05:19 PM I don't get great FPS with my 5090OC in VR, but I only get 10-15 Load. Also there is a lot of grass popin, even with grass on the highest settings
spybaz Posted Thursday at 06:22 PM Posted Thursday at 06:22 PM I just went into the quick flight with the default plane but the elevator trim buttons I assigned (Moza joystick thumb switch forward/back) are not doing anything at all to the plane. And when I go to the settings to check the assignments I made, it says the same coomand is already for 'other' actions but it's the same command name that is being referenced: Is this a bug or am my I missing something? Thanks, spy
1C Game Studios LukeFF Posted Thursday at 06:23 PM Author 1C Game Studios Posted Thursday at 06:23 PM Check the Flight Manual page for the given aircraft. On that page you'll find the relevant keybinds for trim for that plane. 1
spybaz Posted Thursday at 08:06 PM Posted Thursday at 08:06 PM Thanks for the reply. I have not gone back to the game yet to test, but can you tell me, are there unique control assignments on per-plane basis? That would be painful...

They are all listed in the flight manual.
Geronimo Posted Thursday at 09:00 PM Posted Thursday at 09:00 PM Typing in chat while flying still has effect on controls. Typed capital E and pressed Shift + E and ejected LOL CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700K GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti RAM: 32GB Disk: Two 1.9TB SSDs Peripherals: Thrustmaster T16000M FCS Flight Pack Head Tracking: TrackIR5
FreeErik Posted Thursday at 09:40 PM Posted Thursday at 09:40 PM hahahaha! I went into settings many times to tweak the Hotas, not noticing the aircraft continued it's way and then crashed....

GOOT66 Posted Friday at 03:23 AM Posted Friday at 03:23 AM have tried everything and nothing works this game is not playable with a winwing joystick!
Blitzen Posted Friday at 02:39 PM Posted Friday at 02:39 PM (edited) I'm not sure this is a bug or a technical issue for my MSFFB joystick, but it is a problem for me. Even after turning stick" sensitivity" way down or up ,it seems to make no difference. I still do not get "steady ,stable" flight, but more like being suspended on a rubber band with slight stick movements resulting a quick movement & requiring a quick movement back. The result is aviolent series of short movements ( fish tailing,or yo-yo-ing,) around the center of axis. This is especially irritating during target acquisition, or landing. I remember this occurring in the first release of Battle of Stalingrad/Great Battles years ago.Eventually it was fixed. Is there anyway of addressing this now, otherwise game play is nearly impossible. Edited Friday at 03:59 PM by Blitzen added text
Bobo Posted Friday at 06:22 PM Posted Friday at 06:22 PM I'm not getting any FFB with my MSFFB stick.

Initially, I had no force feedback, but after restarting the mission, it worked. Now, however, it's extremely choppy with force feedback enabled – it's unplayable. There were, and still are, problems with MSFFB2 in *IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles*. Edited Saturday at 12:17 AM by LukeFF please post in English 2

Blitzen Posted Friday at 11:18 PM Posted Friday at 11:18 PM "Stabililized" joystick setting gave me very good results!😁

Bobo Posted Saturday at 03:32 AM Posted Saturday at 03:32 AM My mouse menu BS was solved when I made sure I was running multi-core. It was whack with single.
EagleMountain Posted Saturday at 10:37 AM Posted Saturday at 10:37 AM How is 076: Flaps: extend/retract supposed to work when bound to an axis? I have mine bound to the "flaps lever" on my Virpil Throttle MT-50CM2 and I have tried different planes with the same outcome. The following is with "Relative Control: Disabled", since I want the position of the level control the position of the flaps in-game. t's really hard to describe what happens since moving the lever doesn't really do anything until it suddenly does. Maybe at the end of the levers travel ?!. If I stop moving the lever it does nothing, the flaps go full down. Moving the lever up again does nothing, the flaps stay down. And if I then pull the lever all the way down the flaps start to move up until they are full up. This could off course be me that don't understand how this is supposed to work! Please advice.
SYN_Mugue Posted Saturday at 12:57 PM Posted Saturday at 12:57 PM I am excited to see the "toggle switch" section in the control menu! And I'm hoping that finally the switches on my TM Warthog throttle are going to be supported natively in game...But I'm having trouble making them work properly. Is there any guidance for using this feature or is it not "fully cooked" yet? Or have I misunderstood what this section of the control input menu is for? Thanks for your continuing efforts, M.
kodamcity Posted Saturday at 03:01 PM Posted Saturday at 03:01 PM This is what it looks like after a message appears stating that the recording file has reached 500 MB while playing on a multiplayer server. The game continues as before, but the main menu appears, allowing you to click on all the menu items. You can also enter the airplane viewing mode from the main menu. Thanks to this feature, I was able to look around the entire instrument panel, so I flew to the base and landed safely. 🤣 This is the main menu screen that reminds me of the classic game Operation Flashpoint. For some reason, it doesn't look bad. 🙂 The credit screen has also changed to a more atmospheric look. It was absurd, but it's a funny bug. lol.

I have been having issues with chrome when I use my mouse sometime. Or my Ministick on my throttle I am using to move cursor in the commander widow goes freaky sometime. To me it is my user error not the sim.
