How can I get in on Friday Night Fights? Is there a sign up? I've been flying CB for the last couple weeks and love the 'full real' setting. Plus, I get really good ping numbers.

There is no sign-up required for Friday Night Flights, just log on to the server and have fun! 😊 1

Yes on some missions you have to fly low in the general area of operations and spot target yourself, maybe one day we'll have Stinson L5's with white phosphorus rockets FAC but for now you're your own FAC. 1 1
ATAG_Ezzie Posted Tuesday at 09:34 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:34 PM If you fly to the eastern edge of the zone and then turn westerly you should encounter small groups of enemy reasonably soon afterwards. There’s sometimes a light but accurate aaa unit that will open up if you overfly it. With my low end pc settings I’ve found that if I fly at about 3k ft with zoomed in view I can spot these targets in the valleys and near some roads and rivers. Makes you appreciate why the spotter FAC type aircraft were so useful for faster jets spotting these types of tgts. From memory Mig Alley had this functionalityand it was quite good (from memory which could be mistaken).
MiGCap Posted Wednesday at 02:08 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:08 AM COMBAT BOX is great, but when You fly blue side the MiG-15s camping adjacent to the non-shoot zones around the UN airfields are a pain in the ass. What about putting well-aiming AAA in the areas? 1
KoN Posted Wednesday at 11:36 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:36 AM (edited) Well in VR this searching for targets in a large red box is quite frustrating and you don't see any targets until very very close, But that's not combat box fault. I didn't see any targets, until too late, already under fire. Using the zoom function in VR there is a bug, when zooming in targets will disappear. !!!!! But I did fly across the red box until engaged then the fun started to actually locate disappearing targets.
