86Cheese Posted October 1 Posted October 1 (edited) Apparently this has been a long standing problem with GB. It is a problem in Korea as well. Just learned this today after getting a Steam Frame. I there was another post about this specifically regarding BigScreen Beyond but I cannot find it now. IL (Both of them) are the only games I have test that have this problem. Would be nice to just get eye tracked foveated rending but I know thats too much to ask for so instead I'm submitting a bug report. Please fix, thanks! EDIT: Eye tracking settings were added in an update today and disabling it makes this worse. Horizontal alignment is also off now. The stereo alignment is completely borked on Steam Frame, so fair warning anyone looking to buy one. Neither GB or Korea will be playable on it. On a side note, I have to say its very frustrating to submit a distinct and specific bug report and have it merged into an existing 9 page thread. Doesn't seem like a very effective way to track a bug you actually want to fix.💩 Edited October 3 by 86Cheese 1
YoYo Posted October 3 Posted October 3 1.004b This bug has not been fixed. Ground lights at night do not display correctly in external views. In the distance, beneath the Mustang's right wing (as shown in the screenshot), the lights of Seoul are visible. The intensity is correct and the lights are clearly visible in one eye, whereas in the other eye, the intensity is only 10–15% of that (as seen in the screenshot), making them barely visible. This creates a visual discrepancy. The issue affects only external views, such as F2, F3, etc. Please provide a fix. 1 Home cockipt: GPU RTX5090, CPU i7 13900, RAM 64Gb. | Webmaster of yoyosims.pl. That's exactly the same problem I experience flying at night, it looks weird and is very uncomfortable. 1
Asgar Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago When using the Steam Frame no matter if you run via OpenXR or not, the images of the left and right eye will be vertically mis-aligned. This makes the game completely unplayable. I have yet to find a way to work around this issue. A fix for this would be much appreciated.
