Am I seeing this right? Does a killed pilot get removed from the game along with the aircraft before it even hits the ground?

It makes me nostalgic for the days when I used to be a writer for SimHq and got a chance to demo an, at that time, relatively unknown game while stationed at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.  I was one of the first to actually sit down and try out IL2 almost a year before it came out.  

 

I look forward to, even thought I don't virtually fly all that much anymore, the release.  I've got the hard drive space set aside and waiting.

Разбавлю немного роликом для русскоязычных игроков, в том числе вторая ссылка на рутуб (для тех, у кого сложно с доступом в ютуб, а игру посмотреть хочется). Вчера провёл стрим по "Ил-2 Корея", обзор того, что есть в игре, полёты, воздушный бой, штурмовка наземных целей, мультиплеер. За четыре часа показал что смог, надеюсь, интересно!

Not happy about the early access watermark, I paid a mint for my OLED monitor and that is going to burn in.  So now even though I paid for early access I cannot play it until this is removed.  Seriously not at all happy with the devs.  If you insist on having a watermark have it move every few minutes or make it black so it doesn't burn pixels.

To have burned OLED you have to play game continually at least several years. But game will come out in a month and watermark will be gone, this watermark isn't bright enough to do damage and modern OLEDs doesn't burn that much.

Several years sounds like a bit of a stretch.
