At the dynamic pressures the MiG develops, the reverse reaction to the roll control input does not have time to manifest itself (though... in principle, if you really try, you might get lucky and catch this, but beyond limited airspeed). Naturally, the effectiveness of ailerons (and other control surfaces) is also affected by high Mach numbers. When the overall Mach number for the aircraft is still below 1 (subsonic), but local shock waves on the wing and tail surfaces are already present, the effectiveness of control surfaces ahead of them decreases. This is modeled. And yes, there is also the "wing drop" effect — a random rolling tendency due to insufficient structural stiffness and asymmetry. Incidentally, this was dealt with fairly quickly, as reflected in the modification with enlarged speed brakes — it also includes a stiffer wing with additional rigging provisions during assembly, which reduces the wing drop effect. But! The reverse response does exist. And it is a reverse roll response to rudder input. It manifests in a narrow Mach number range (roughly 0.85...0.93), and occurs because the effective sweep angles of the two wing consoles differ due to sideslip, causing one console to experience a wave drag crisis while the other does not. This leads to a difference in lift and an unexpected roll in the opposite direction. Once again, briefly: -Wing twisting exists; it leads to reduced aileron effectiveness, up to a complete lack of response. It depends on speed. -Wing drop exists; it rolls the aircraft in a random direction with varying intensity on each flight, depending on the specific aircraft and speed. -Reduced control effectiveness due to shock waves at Mach numbers above critical Mach exists. It depends on Mach number. -Reverse roll response to rudder input exists; it appears in a narrow Mach number range. Thank you for taking the time to answer them . I was not aware at the time that each mig spawn had randomly attributed different severity of the wingdrop effect This in itself is a better approach of implementation than the other sim. I was very pleasantly surprised when Command T shared this. However i do have one question regarding the effects on the wing drop vs DCS. Would G onset while maneuvering in the Transonics make wingtwisting worse? If i´m not mistaken that is modeled in DCS and just skimming the scientific literature on it, it seems to point in this way. I think the main issue is that we all feel that the severity of wing drop is too light and we never encountered a situation where we had to strugle in controling the jet, which is in contradiction to the testing reports and other observations

Скрытый текст Этот вырез нужен, что бы нормально видеть солдатик выпуска закрылков, иначе не видно полную уборку закрылков. (помню, в детстве, когда клеил модельку мига долго гадал что это за вырез и не брак ли это литья, но тогда инета то еще не было и негде было найти инфу (а в библиотеках РЛЭ не водилось), много позже вычитал зачем он нужен). По логике должно быть наоборот (хотя вроде тяга появляется в районе 5...6,5 к, но тут не уверен) В какой-то момент после посадки лампочка "выпусти шасси" продолжала гореть, после взлета и уборки шасси погасла. Но я не отследил когда она загорелась и что я делал с закрылками перед заходом. Сама посадка с закрылками в посадочное была.

Но на тех, что удалось найти (и для ВК-1 тоже) пламени на больших оборотах не видно. А вот на малом газу как раз таки оно заметно. 1 Lead engineer

In case of stick force charts, they are often showing force in combination with trim for level flight. If you trim for level flight at 950, then that pilot is terminator. But he might aswell be anyway because there is no way in hell human being aint blacking out in such long pull and these Gs especially without gsuit. Nor there is any chance mig15 is surviving 15Gs of overload. Modern built F-15 was all bent up and wings scrapped after it survived brief moment at 15Gs. Edited August 5 by JendaJND 1 1

Andrey78 Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Нашёл несколько багов: 1) при стрельбе из пушек и 23 мм и 37 мм - на РУС нажимается одна и та же верхняя кнопка, а должны быть разные: кнопка - 37 мм, курок - 23 мм (на Як-9П работает и курок и кнопка на разное вооружение!) 2) анимация переключателя воздушного тормоза работает только по команде "Воздушные тормоза: выпуск/уборка" (B) есть давать отдельные команды "Воздушные тормоза: выпуск" (L Ctrl + B) и "Воздушные тормоза: уборка" (LShift + B), то переключателя в кабине остается в исходном положении и не двигается! (хотя зеленая лампочка-индикатор работает правильно) 2
Azdack Posted August 13 Posted August 13 I identified two gyros in the cockpit of the Mig-15 bis. The DGMK-3 and the Ki-M compass. If I activate the HUD that shows my heading, I notice that the heading shown in the DGMK-3 does not match the one shown by the HUD. Is there any adjustment to be made so that the two compasses show the same heading? On the other hand, the KI-M compass appears in the cockpit of the MIG 15 only in the missions configured in the mission editor. We don’t see it in career mode missions. I would like to be able to navigate with the MIG-15 bis without displaying the HUD. Any advice? Thank you. 1
