76.IAP-Black Posted Thursday at 09:20 PM Posted Thursday at 09:20 PM While testing the game for the first time, i have noticed the wheel rolling radius is set to small in diameter. The wheels are spinning faster than the plane is moving, can you pls check it. Will check the other planes too
Voxman Posted yesterday at 05:58 PM Posted yesterday at 05:58 PM Just checking in on this plane and wanted to post somewhere on how twitchy this plane is. Anybody relate? Any tips on curve settings? Trim seems like a constant thing. I'm currently using a CH Combatstick 568, Computer: AMD 7800x3D, Nvidia 5070Ti, 64Gb DDR5-6000. Input devices: CH Combatstick 568; CH Throttle, Charlie Rudder.
iflyflightsims Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago There is an intermittent sound bug with the F-80C. I am not sure if other aircraft experience this bug. After a ramp start, the engine idle sound continues to play on a loop instead of changing with the throttle setting. You can see in the track that the aircraft is clearly moving, but the engine sound continues in idle. WarmWombat Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I tried bombing in free flight with two dumb bombs and two fuel bags on the wingtips. On the first run I dropped a single bomb, which worked fine. On the second run I thought I pressed the bomb release but it didn't come off. On the third run I pressed the release button twice to make sure the second and last bomb dropped which worked, but I also found my aircraft was suddenly unbalanced and rolled to the side. I then noticed that on the second bomb release press, one of the fuel bags on the wingtips jettisoned. This should definitely not be a thing - we already have buttons to jettison fuel tanks, and bomb release button should not be doing this (dropping fuel tanks).
Gavrick Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago 44 минуты назад, WarmWombat сказал: bomb release button should not be doing this (dropping fuel tanks). But in real life, the button worked exactly like that. From the perspective of the F‑80's weapon control system (and some other aircraft as well), there is no difference between a drop tank and a bomb. Whichever station is selected by the selector switches — that is the one whose shackles will release when the button is pressed. On some aircraft, however — the MiG‑15, for example — the bomb release button circuit was cut when drop tanks were installed. So the implementation depends on the aircraft. The same goes for the jettison of external stores — it drops whatever was dropped when that button was pressed on the actual aircraft. The only exception is the "jettison drop tanks" command, which always releases only the drop tanks, regardless of the real aircraft's configuration. 2 Lead engineer
1C Game Studios LukeFF Posted 3 hours ago 1C Game Studios Posted 3 hours ago Just to add to what Gavrick wrote: the F-80 had three stores jettison mechanisms. One was for jettisoning either bombs or drop tanks; one was for jettisoning the rocket boosters; and the last was for jettisoning all stores. They're all described in the hanbook.
