Althar93 Posted June 30 Posted June 30 (edited) I have an AND Radeon RX 6700XT, using FSR balanced, aircraft flying in front of distant clouds are masked (looks like a dither pattern) and occasionally disappear entirely, despite there being nothing in front of them. This also happens at very close range (<200m) which makes dogfighting anywhere near clouds impossible. [EDIT] This issue ALSO happens with FXAA, judging by the dithered pattern, this looks more like a depth/disocclusion issue with the clouds, than something to do with AA. LuftManu Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Hello! In the F-86A, if you break your wings while carrying rockets, they will still be attached after the wings goes away. Mark_Krieger Posted July 1 Posted July 1 (edited) IL-10 when you turn on the engine the fuel indicator doesn't activate. Not a bug, but I think that turning on the engine should not activate master arms on and bombs safety on. It is protocol in the airfield to keep de weapons deactivated. Edit: just after posting it has been solved in the new update. That was fast! 😮 Edited July 1 by Mark_Krieger CPU AMD Ryzen 7800 X3D, GPU AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, RAM: 64 Gb DDR5, VR Headset: Quest 3.

In GB, they chose the same for that reason. 2

When new players can get used to activate the master arms when you enter the combat zone and arming bombs before initiating the attack. Or perhaps they could activate a realism option where turning on the engine did not activate weapons. Legioneod Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Rendering in front of clouds is very bad. A cloud could be miles away but as soon as an aircraft flies in front of the cloud, the aircraft pretty much becomes invisible. This makes spotting near impossible. Hopefully this can be fixed. I was flying with a wingman last night and I couldn't even keep formation or link up because he would disappear every time he flew in front of a cloud. I couldn't keep sight of him so it was near impossible to stay together. 3
AEthelraedUnraed Posted July 2 Posted July 2 (edited) I think there may be a bug with two of the exam missions. In the final F-80 mission, buildings (e.g. the hangars) aren't counted despite the mission briefing specifically mentioning that airfield infrastructure is a valid target. That makes the 25 destroyed objects a very steep target. In the final F-86 mission, I twice failed the mission after landing even though I never got the "mission failed" message. One time I even explicitly got a message saying that the bombers were safe, but still the mission didn't succeed after landing back at my home base (using autoskip). I don't have any tracks unfortunately. EDIT: I finally was able to complete the F-80 exam. Just counting the yellow popups saying that something was destroyed, it only happened after 30 of those. There were many more objects that did get destroyed but did not trigger a popup. Edited July 3 by AEthelraedUnraed 1

YoYo Posted July 3 Posted July 3 As someone correctly pointed out, night lighting hasn't been implemented at all in EA, hence the strange color artifacts and the overall fact that night looks terrible here (hence the oily effects on colors, like some kind of RGB limit). It's possible that this is simply in the development phase and will be available on August 4th. Therefore, note that in patch one, the developers removed night mission generation in the Task Editor. This may mean that they are aware of the current problem, and to avoid irritating users, they simply decided not to "advertise" nighttime in the simulator. YoYo Posted July 3 Posted July 3 While this may be a feature, I consider it a problem. Turning on the interior cockpits lighting doesn't work immediately. After pressing "L," the cockpit lights (gauges, ambient lighting, or full illumination) come on after a moment, but a certain amount of time must pass, 2-3 seconds. There's a slight delay, but this makes me think it didn't work, so I press "L" several times during this time, and then for this extended period, we essentially revert to the original version. I'd like the interior cabin lighting to respond immediately after pressing "L," without any delay. Home cockipt: GPU RTX5090, CPU i7 13900, RAM 64Gb. | Webmaster of yoyosims.pl. VR flying only.
Sketch Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Trains are derailing in grid 2329-6 Problem: When the train heads South along the rail line at grid 2329-6, there is a sharp turn to the right. When the train takes that turn, it attempts to slow down, but even slowed, it derails. I assume this is because of the train cars I am using (passenger cars). Expectation: The train should slow down automatically (it does do that), and make the turn without derailing regardless of the train cars used. 1
YoYo Posted July 3 Posted July 3 TASK EDITOR generates too strong wind, inconsistent with the settings. I have the wind set to 5 m/s, which is 11 mph. Meanwhile, the HUD shows a wind of 34 mph! That's 15 m/s, or three times faster. That wind speed is 54 km/h, so it's no wonder people can't hit with rockets! 1 Home cockipt: GPU RTX5090, CPU i7 13900, RAM 64Gb. | Webmaster of yoyosims.pl.
