Aapje Posted June 24 Posted June 24 @LukeFF You might want to clarify that the preload is successful when the login screen is shown and that logging in is not possible yet. Otherwise you might get a lot of questions to the support team. 1

Stuntie Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Edge got shirty and wouldn't let me save the download unless I told MS it was totally safe before I downloaded it. I don't know if it's safe -(I assume it is as it's from a reputable company). But that's why I always Scan any downloaded files before running them. Even ones from reputable companies. And to do that I need to download it first. So needed to use Chrome to download it and then scan it. Also needed to tell Windows Defender that YES I do want to run it. Devs may want to report it to MS and Windows Defender to say it's legit 1

Many games allow players to download the client in advance, but do not allow login or access to the servers until the official start time. In that case, the launcher or game may show something like “Server is not available now” or a similar message. Head of content creator program

I'm not too sure what I did next after that though, clicked on something and it then worked. 1
