IL-2 Korea System Requirements

Hi @LukeFF  I brought IL-2 Korea Two weeks ago but the only thing is I cant play it on my current Computer as it does not meet the System Requirements as its from 2020/2021  If I buy a brand new custom build gaming  computer will i have to Rebuy the game or will it be saved in my personal  Account so I can just Redownload it from the main website ?

You don't have to rebuy the game. Just download it on the new PC or copy it from your old computer.

Well, for a G2 Reverb this may be some overkill.

But you will probably replace your headset by a better one within next years, since it’s already today somewhat outdated in terms of visuals.

And higher res headsets can bring the best rig to the knees with Korea, depending on settings. Also this high end rig will not allow ‚full settings‘ but it will allow a lot.

So it really simply depends on how much money you can/want to spend.

Necessary? No. 
You can have Gaming Joy also with less graphical fidelity. It‘s just somehow like drugs 😉

I have an older build PC.  For early access I was running an i7 14700 with an RTX 3070 and I was getting a solid and steady 80FPS.  The only issue I had was I would get a VRAM shortage warning after a while.  The FPS didn't get effected though.  So, I disabled the 4K textures which prevented the problem.  There may be other solutions but I chose the most obvious and it worked.  No more VRAM issues.  Last week I came into some unexpected $, and rather than telling my wife I bought an AMD 9070XT. 🙂  Dropped it in and I don't think I have yet to fully tweak it but I now run the 4K with no issues *went from Gig to 16 Gig VRAM) and I run VSYNC so my FPS is at a rock solid 144 which matches my monitor refresh rate (I run 1920X1080)  I really expected the game to be more system demanding and was pleasantly surprised that my initial system ran it fin.  I play multiplayer 99% of the time and finally broke down and joined the Combat Box Discord server and jumped in with 3 guys I did not know and had a great 90 minutes of flying and fighting.  I'm a little concerned about 2 things.  One, the 54 player limit is a little low for a GIANT map. Hopefully they can streamline the net code more (Although I have yet to see warping at all which is good) and Two, I have not seen more than 100-150 people online in all the severs combined which shocks me.  Maybe everyone is into the career mode.

It's still being hashed out for online servers far as figuring out the features and how to build workable missions, and far as Combat Box, they're using their former training server which isn't up to specs with their regular mission running Great Battles server, so they reduce the numbers to ease the load.  For now it makes sense, why should they pay for a capability they can't yet fully harness.  

Just give it some time, its still the very beginning of the life cycle.
