Your skins are top notch! 

So I have a few other skins you didn't do that Id like to change a few colors using gimp but for the life of me I can't figure out how to do it. Mostly just want to change the color of their nose and tail without affecting anything else like rivets, nose art, weathering etc. Is there a detailed tutorial on gimp 3.2 for il2 gb that will guide me how to do changes? I've seen a couple but they are either very old versions of gimp or not detailed enough for me.

Regarding  Gimp... I have no idea how Gimp works (I guess it's comparable to Photoshop, but I have zero experience with Gimp). I use Photoshop😊

The callsign is the name of our boat. Seemed to fit the life of a boat owner lol.

Viper, Sorry to bother you once again but I have another problem. After downloading your P51 skins for 352 FG I can't get them to show up in PWCG. Do you use PWCG and if so is there a trick to getting your skins to show up. I can usually download skins and place them in the proper skin file in IL2 and they show in PWCG. Depending on the units and the skins I want to use, I have to check Squadron, Non Squadron and Loose in PWCG to get them to show up but that's not working for your 352 skins. I can't seem to get yours to show. Any thoughts?

Regarding Pat Wilson's Campaign Generator... I've never heard of this PWCG and have'nt the slightest idea how it works. Maybe the IL-2 community can help out?

Viper, with the help of Chat GPT (that damn thing is incredible for what it can do) the problem was identified as it relates to Pat Wilsons Campaign Generator (PWCG). It was a naming issue, an example of which is below. 

Example:

Your file name for Cripes A Mighty: P-51D-15-NA Cripe's A Mighty

This structure is not recognized by PWCG and the skin will not show up in PWCG so it can't be used in IL2GB when using PWCG  

The revised name for Cripes A Mighty: P51D15NA-Cripes All Mighty.dds

This is the structure required for use in PWCG. So it really comes down to the dash being placed after the NA in your name structure followed by the rest of the skin name with no spaces.

I thought I'd share this, particularly because a lot of us use PWCG. Sounds like you haven't used it and if not and you fly IL2 GB's I highly recommend it. It's the only way I play the game. It is a 3rd party app by yep, Pat Wilson, that allows you to pick what theatre you want to play, which side you want to fly for and what skins you want to use in game. It produced a dynamic campaign generating individual missions for your squadron and other virtual units as well. There is much more to it and it provides a huge amount of flexibility. It is quite amazing and worth a look if you might be interested. You will find it in 3rd party/Mods. 

Anyway, my 352 FG is now flying your skins in the not so friendly skies over western Europe.
