Haluter Posted Wednesday at 10:58 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:58 PM (edited) PRISM is a 3D aircraft livery viewer and rendering studio for IL-2 Great Battles, Flying Circus and IL-2 Korea. Load aircraft and skins from your game installation, inspect them from any angle, and create high-quality images. For final renders, PRISM uses Blender Cycles GPU-accelerated path tracing—an advanced form of ray tracing—to simulate reflected light, soft shadows and glass transmission. Detailed material and normal maps reproduce surface texture, metallic finishes and gloss, while adaptive sampling and high-quality denoising produce cleaner images with smooth edges. Present your aircraft in a studio or WW2 hangar, with selectable floor surfaces and lighting presets. Adjust landing gear, flaps and canopies, show pilots and gunners, activate aircraft lights, and simulate spinning propellers where supported. Add aircraft names, custom watermarks and artwork with adjustable fonts, positioning, transparency and embossing. PRISM can also detect missing DDS finish alpha and, with your approval, back up and repair the skin. Export Blender renders at 2K, 4K or 8K, save PNG and JPEG images, create cropped HSD images, or batch-render multiple liveries. Save complete projects to return to your aircraft, camera, lighting and presentation settings later. Planned features include painting and placing markings directly on the 3D aircraft, an outdoor runway environment, and a sky scene with clouds and adjustable atmospheric lighting. Further rendering improvements are also planned, including better cockpit visibility in Blender exports. PRISM is still under development and will be released when ready.
