He fixed the HUD, it's very worthwhile and informative now.  Gives you GPU and CPU usage now, and the frame times are much more accurate.  It can give you a really good awareness for tuning correct overhead room for smoothness now.  Oh, and it tells you VRAM consumption live now too as your flying, horrendous.

For the turbo feature alone you'll want to try this app if you fly VR, there is nothing like it for gains, depending on hardware your flying as everything else your mileage may vary, but I get a massive boost in performance from it, the single biggest gain.

Seems pretty decent to me.

I was able to use the CheekyDLSS before the patch, i was gone for 2 weeks due to guests in the house, and after the patch i wasnt able to run or re-install it.

However, the VectorXR app is working great and frame generation seems to make the head movements a bit snappier although you can tell a bit of artifacts sometimes. Will give it a proper go tonight after work.

Could someone be so nice to explain me what VectorXR is for?

I am not interested in a Necksaver ( dont need it yet, beeing slightly Sub60 ;-> )

Quite happy now with Cheeky, awaiting Game optimizations for CPU limits, however I am somewhat curious … but dont want to ruin my actual installation.

For IL-2 it's use (without Pivot, which I love) could be Depth (world scale to make the cockpit and view more realistic (to you). Frame Generation is useful if you can not maintain your headsets hz rate in FPS (for you 72 or 90) at all times. I could fairly steadily hit 72hz/FPS most of the time, but at times saw 55-60. I was able to switch to 90hz and never see less as all I need to do is maintain 45FPS in-game to achieve it (2x Frame generation). Turbo does mothing for me (5090), but others see substantial gains with it on. His Quadviews (only pertinent in DCS/MSFS or others that support eye-tracking) to me is fantastic as it has a TON of flexibility and also acts as a check if my Pimax eye-tracking (which just stops for no reason) is functioning.

To be fair, I use VXR for Pivot and Quadviews, but run OFXR-Bridge for Frame Generation, just works better for me. YMMV.

Edit :I should add, Neither of these apps do anything to your IL-2 install, so no worry about "but dont want to ruin my actual installation"

Hi,

I had an issue with Vectorxr pivot function. Unless I was dead center oriented ( looking dead ahead ) pivot function after key pressing , didn't work right for me left and right snap views.

I didn't suffer from that while using necksafer ( i could turn my head , say 80 degrees even if my initial orientation was say at 5 degrees or 10 degrees by the time I would press the turn key ).

Did they fix this?

Thanks!

No idea, I have never used (or liked) snap views. I just use Motion Activation multipliers in Yaw and Pitch.. Best to ask on his Discord .
