Greetings, pilots!

Yesterday, we released an update with important fixes. After its release, we discovered rare, hard-to-reproduce situations that led to crashes.

We quickly prepared a new small hotfix, and it’s already in the game.

Thank you to everyone who sent us information. Your reports help us find such cases faster and improve the game!

By any chance did you upgrade to the Founder's Edition between the previous patch and today?

That's the only thing that changed on my end.

Unable to play currently, can anyone tell me whether the Sabre's fragile wings have been fixed?

No

Wings break at around 11.8 Gs. It is possible to avoid this with gentler maneuvers. I cannot say how historically accurate it is. From my testing,  problems start when flying above 750 km/h. At that speed any sharp maneuvers will result is Gs higher than 11.5 and wings will snap.

I noticed that since the update that my frame rates were negatively impacted.

In the setup screens, frame rate appeared to be hard limited to 60 FPS, GPU load (RTX 5080) was minimal. After the patch frame rates are anywhere from about 175 to 200 with the GPU load 95-99%. Frame rate limiter is set to 144 in settings.

In flight frame rates took a hit and GPU load is up ~15-20%

Anyone else having trouble with salvo settings for the rockets? If I use it the first rockets will salvo, then I cant fire rockets again unless I cycle the settings but sometimes I cant get anotehr salvo at all. F51 but also seems faulty in F80. Anyone else?

The MODE button or FIRE button I assume the latter?

Button for rockets for sure. Button for change the mode 1 short press is enough.

Howdy Fly, I see you made it here.

Go easy on Flyfish, he is one of my merry band.  We have been flying coops this week.

About rockets, I have experienced the same thing,  sometimes no matter how long the fire button is held after an initial salvo, it won't fire the remaining rockets without resetting the mode switch.

It takes a LONG time to fire them

Too long.  When I push that button, I want them NOW.

It happened instantly. A whole series of shots is fired from all the pylons on the rails, with an interval of 0.1 seconds. Unless something changed recently after 004b; I haven't tested that. As for the button, to be precise, it's not the fire button 1-4, but a separate button for rockets. I think the "R" key on the keyboard is also there.

Single mode - each press - one rocket, salvo - the whole series as long as we hold the Rockets button.

I have rockets mapped to it's own button.  As I said I can launch say, half of them as you describe, then I let off the button.  I will reacquire a new target, line up, push the button, and ... nothing happens no matter long I push that button.  to get them to fire again I have to cycle the firing mode button again.

I wish I could just carry more bombs instead of the rockets, bombs are more effective and easier to get on target.

I can't wait for a Skyraider.

Single press does not work in salvo, I need to press for like 4-5 secs . It's very unpredictable.

Using the F84 as the example l flew yesterday

yes, indeed. i will report that.

the load has increased, and the fps drops more frequently. obviously, all settings are the same.  capping from 90 to 60 brought stable fps and dropped load, but.......

I have the rocket launch switch mapped to a metal, vintage simple switch on the warthog throttle. Once I switch up, takes about 1 second to actually fire, and if I switch back before all rockets are fired, and let's say there's only one left, then indeed that single one left has to be fired from single mode. Otherwise, haven't seen problems with that. Except that the rockets are as accurate as a blind man driving a car.
