I was able to complete a career mission in VR. It was an F-86 bomber intercept mission from Suwon. There were only 3 TU-2's and I had one F-86, so the "load" reported on screen stayed very low. I then tried to fly an F-84 close air support mission of 4 F-84's from Osan. The "load" was very high, around 75% the whole time. The game crashed to desktop upon ending the mission. I suspect something is happening where the system is overloaded in complex missions causing the CTD. Bad news for some, as I have a pretty top-end system.

I had the same experience. The game load was very high (over 70%), and although the FPS remained relatively high, the gameplay felt sluggish and looking around was choppy. Playing on monitor.

Well, at least did the mission registered as completed?

My sadness comes from the fact that all missions in career I've tried are crashing to desktop BEFORE they register as completed, so it's same mission again, and again.......and again... 😞 

I do love that movie , Groundhog Day, but only now I truly understand that guy's burden.....

He finished this ordeal by finding his love.

Well, i probably did: the P-80. And still, CTD.

So, maybe it's not true love ????
