I am pretty sure that there are separate teams that work on new content for DLC and core game improvements like AI.

The priority is to avoid starving.  So there are people working on both new content and improving current functionality.

I hope so. The blog also recently mentioned work on the promised bombers for the IL-2 GB, so that's something to keep in mind, although Ugra Media can do that regardless of what's happening at 1CGS.

By the way, last week we had a patch every day. It's a bit longer this week, as you can see, but maybe they're preparing a larger patch package?
