Is just me, or different axis curves cannot be assigned to different aircraft through the profile manager?

Thank you all for talking about these things, as I have been struggling big time.

I used to be an air combat addict from the earliest ones right up to Falcom 3 and Rowan's "The Battle of Britain. I'm now retired and bought a whole new system. I bought the Winwing URSA MINOR, and I love the stick. I also bought the Trustmaster 16000 throttle. I thought I could just use the rudders on either of those items, but I miss having pedals. Any recommendations that might work well with my setup? 

I also got the IRTrack IR 5. Not very impressed with how it's working with this sim. I suspect it might be that the game is more the problem. Anyone agree or disagree?

I gave my TiR5 a go, ran it without messing with its settings and it was fine.
