Preload Issues

Ok. It's related to the letter 'a'. 

As soon as i type 'a', everything gets greyed out. 

Changed the pw to something without an 'a' and this works. 

Of course I'll get no log in though.

Unfortunately my Win11 refuses to download, as this link is considered problematic and that cannot be trusted.

Now resolved - even if not sure how I did it.

 

same here. I've tried several times and all I get is the below with no way of getting it to do anything. I can't even give an instruction to ignore the warning and continue. Anyone got any ideas?

I did something, not entirely sure what though but got it working just before your post came up, but thanks for helping. I like to think my flying skills are a bit better than my IT skills!

I know we cant play yet but is it normal that i cant type in my email adress? It just get marked after the first letters and removed when i keep typing.

Someone said that it refused to accept 'a'. So better go to the government to get a legal name change.

Although an easier and cheaper solution is probably to copy/paste your email from somewhere else.

I just copied my email into the startup.cfg. Looks very familiar to IL2 GB.

Still unable to download.  Same problem as the others has.  3 Dots don't do anything.  Can't "Keep" or "ignor".

It works I was able to load the file. Indeed when you download you get a cancellation. The three dots give you the possibility to keep, and if you say you want to keep, then it asks you to validate the file which means to go into a Microsoft questionnaire form. If you click cancel then you get a sub question to keep the file and if you click then it finally will keep it. It is cumbersome and confusing. Clearly there is a problem with this link or file that Win11 / Microsoft do not like.

The question is why? Is it due to the servers, their location, the link to them, clearly there is something not right.

The game is installed. But I cannot put my email as I have the same problem that others had, the letter "a" is not accepted so it is impossible to register.

Hope they will fix these issues.

Copy paste the email and password, works perfectly in the meantime. 

It will be open in a few hours

You can also press Control and it will return to normal writing.

Stuck on CRC errors, restarted around ten times now

I see that many people are having various issues.
I managed to download and install the launcher, but I can't get any further than that.

I turned off my antivirus, restarted the router, and even changed the DNS server addresses. Nothing worked.

My Antivirus firstly blocked my .exe
But download went relatively fast with 12MB/s
Playing now and really liking it so far, hope you guys get your issues fixed somehow and/or find a workaround
I also suffered from typing in the email-issue, but doing it via copy/paste instead was self-explanatory

Try downloading again, seems like something corrupted while downloading 
(maybe try another SSD)

I installed the game yesterday, launcher works fine but when I hit play nothing happens. Launcher closes and il2 Korea doesn’t launch.

 

i am running nvidia drivers 581.80 for another game. Is his is issue ? 
 

should I update drivers now ?

 

i just want to confirm that someone can play before i screw my drivers up

I was unable to download it until I used a VPN to switch to Canada. Downloaded immediately upon doing that.
