Gees, I can only imagine how you scroll through them to get to the specific one you want to play! 1 My single player campaigns: "Fortress Stalingrad" "Hunter in the snow" "Battlefield Kerch" "Ruspoli at the gates of Odesa"

Yes, scrolling is really annoying, they could do some form of sorting/grouping or just folders like in SP missions. So I have more than 100 saved on list in excel (so as not to forget) and nicely sorted by aircrafts. In IL-2 only a few that I'm currently playing (and all official ones). 1
Billsponge1972 Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Yes, it sucks to scroll to the one I am playing. And they change places randomly sometimes. There is an order setting in the info file from 1 to 5 but doesn't seem to do much that I can tell.

But 1 year ago I had a malefunction in a campaign, mission results were not added to the awards screen. Although I am not 100% sure if it was the real reason: After I have deleted more than 20000 missions report files from the data folder I was able to continue this campaign and the results were added to the awards in a correct way:

Some kind of alphabetical order or sides classification would be nice to put some order in the scripted campaigns. @LukeFF could you ask the devs if is this possible? 🙂
Aapje Posted May 29 Posted May 29 To some extent this is the consequence of the success of GB, with so many paid and free campaigns now being available, that it becomes a mess. And the complication is that as this got harder to manage, it also got harder to solve, so I don't expect that this will be changed for GB. @LukeFF Can you ask the developers to consider adding things these things to the new Korea engine? : - Grouping campaigns by side - Grouping and/or sorting and/or filtering campaigns by plane - Adding an infobox shown when you hover the mouse over the campaign, containing things like the planes being flown by the player, how many missions are in the the campaign and potentially other things. Right now, it is sometimes quite hard to figure out what plane(s) you fly for the campaign. In some cases you can only see it by starting a mission. Also, it would be really nice if we could get some extra features for loose missions, like the ability to see whether one has flown it already, like one can see for campaigns, an infobox with the plane flown in the mission, the ability to group, sort and filter the missions by side, plane, etc. Of course, I understand that this is not something that can be done at this very busy time for the team, but perhaps the team can do them when things quiet down a bit. These quality of life features that surely would be appreciated a lot by players. 1
1C Game Studios LukeFF Posted May 29 1C Game Studios Posted May 29 I'll try to find out, but at least with GB, I wouldn't expect any changes to the GUI at this point in the game's development.
Aapje Posted May 29 Posted May 29 (edited) Yes, that why I asked for the Korea engine, which will pay for itself more and more over time, as more content is created (also for future modules not set in Korea, but using the same engine). Edited May 30 by Aapje

We'll take a look at it and see if anything can be done. 1
