VISHNU Posted March 21 Posted March 21 (edited) Hey @LukeFF, I tried unsuccessfully several times to contact the DEVs about changing my purchase from the basic to the founder's edition, but nobody has contacted me. Could you put a bug in someone's ear for me? I've done support tickets through the contact on the website, to no avail. Edited March 21 by VISHNU ________________________
Snipermanx Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Hi, please send me a DM with a brief description of the situation, along with your Support ticket ID, and I’ll see what I can do to help. 21 час назад, VISHNU сказал: Hey @LukeFF, I tried unsuccessfully several times to contact the DEVs about changing my purchase from the basic to the founder's edition, but nobody has contacted me. =FI=Ardmore Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Hi, I am in the same position as VISHNU, is it possible to change from Standard to Founders edition, I submitted a ticket and have not had a reply, ticket No. is 13222. Thanks.
Buffo002 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Even though there are demos and videos, I'll just wait for the basic version that I subscribed to. It's enough for me for now and the development will continue anyway, even if it costs me more money to buy it later. 🙂 1
Mainstay Posted March 23 Posted March 23 What does “A new layer of interaction with the game world” mean?
Avimimus Posted March 24 Posted March 24 16 hours ago, BlitzPig_EL said: Aircraft carriers and naval aircraft. We don't know that for sure. 16 hours ago, Mainstay said: What does “A new layer of interaction with the game world” mean? It is a mystery.

I am not a child, well most of the time :-), and I want to known what my money is buying, at least as far as far as the DLC planes are concerned. If DLC plane types plus the mystery future "new level of interaction" were revealed, it would more than likely push me to prepurchase now, of course only if it is not a jeep or artillery spotting. This game of wait and see that the Devs seem to enjoy only brings back bad memories Of 2013 and the statement one prominent 1C Dev made,"we know what hard core flight simmers want", right before BOS was released. Then we got BOS with grinding. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me! S!Blade<>< 1 3

Blitzen Posted April 24 Posted April 24 I've managed to change my order to the Premium Edition. Now can I ask is there a better EtA on it's arrival? 1
KC23 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Recently read one of the regular YouTube guys, and he made a pretty good argument that it will be carrier stuff and one of the aircraft to be a Panther. 1

Yes, but I make a pretty good argument that it would be better one of the «dev’s» said there would be «carrier stuff» Besides that anyone knows that is where this is headed. Anywho, I still think they should give us a clue what them 7 extra planes gonna be in founders edition. I personally isn’t that keen on what we know we get with a few exceptions. Yet I find those 180$ to be well spent if there was something of my liking.

I wait out prices on Ram a bit more and see what or if I buy new rig. If I do I probably buy this module anyway. Kind of never one can have too many choices
Aapje Posted April 28 Posted April 28 If two planes love each other very much, they can have a baby plane. 1

However, I was a little taken aback by the lack of a dynamic campaign. I mastered Mig Alley's campaign over time, which was so fun. The AI was pretty good. I am concerned about what others have said regarding the stupid AI IL-2 in previous efforts. 2
Lusekofte Posted April 29 Posted April 29 I don’t mind public servers anymore for a quick flight. But shiny fastmoving fighters do not bring more to a dogfight other than speed, witch is a bad thing for an old grumpy asocial geek like me. I miss old IL 2 dynamic campaigns.

This is kind-of how I feel... after 1942 power-to-weight ratios climb, but so do wing loadings... dogfights become less elegant. Also, with the proliferation of high velocity cannons it is more guaranteed that one won't have to make multiple passes to shoot down a plane - very unchivalric! At least with the MG-FF and Type 99 they have low velocities and rates of fire - and only a single ShVAK is usually carried... even the Hispanos were pretty unreliable (and had smaller magazines) in 1942... so aircraft don't tend to evaporate as reliably. That said, Korea should provide a pretty different experience of dogfights - not quite modern, not quite WWII... something different from both.
BlitzPig_EL Posted May 1 Posted May 1 (edited) Indeed so. "Tight" turns in a jet dogfight will have astronomical radius sizes compared to even late war prop fighters. They will require better planning and much more patience as well. It will be a very different experience. The prop vs. jet contest will be a true test of wills. Can the prop pilot drag the jet jock down low and slow? Will the jet driver be so fixated on the kill that he will take that bait? Interesting times ahead. Edited May 1 by BlitzPig_EL
