FFBuser161 Posted July 10 Posted July 10 У меня тоже есть вопрос. Управление-FFBeast. При запуске двигателя , почему ручка не вибрирует? Мотор при запуске трясёт сильно. В других играх этот момент не вызывает вопросов.

So I don't see them adding support for Korea before it is released, even if they would get access to it. Since I've had AB9 since yesterday, is the only way to access FFB the line for IL-2 GB (I haven't set anything for IL-2 Korea yet, but I want to do it today)? Can't both simulators work, only one or the other? Isn't it possible to create a new profile just for IL-2 Korea while keeping the main one for IL-2 GB? DirectFFB worked for me in Korea without any changes to the Moza config, and I also use DirectFFB for GB. If you use telemetry for GB, you need to switch to DirectFFB for Korea. 1

Aapje Posted July 20 Posted July 20 IL-2 has extensive FFB support through DirectFFB, so telemetry is less important than for other sims. On the Moza discord, you can find what other people are using (search for Korea or IL-2).
YoYo Posted July 25 Posted July 25 (edited) Hi. I'd like to create a profile for the Moza AB9 and IL-2 Korea. How do I do this? The profile requires a simulator, but the IL-2 Korea isn't listed for Moza. I don't want to overwrite the profile as the IL-2, because the IL-2 GB profile works very well in that simulator, along with telemetry. Any ideas how to "Save it as...". EDIT. Okay, my mistake, I can save the profile without selecting a simulator. The SAVE button is active. It only disables automatic preset selection. I think we should wait for a Moz software update to add Korea. Edited July 25 by YoYo Home cockipt: GPU RTX5090, CPU i7 13900, RAM 64Gb. | Webmaster of yoyosims.pl. VR flying only.
YoYo Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Does anyone know how quickly Moza responds to software updates? If Korea launches on August 4th, will Moza release its update the same day to support telemetry not only from the IL-2 GB but also from the IL-2 Korea? A new tab should appear. What do people on the Moza Discord think about this? 🙂 btw. Can you give me Moza Discord invitation? Home cockipt: GPU RTX5090, CPU i7 13900, RAM 64Gb. | Webmaster of yoyosims.pl. VR flying only.
Aapje Posted July 28 Posted July 28 (edited) I don't rate Moza's software development that highly, so I would temper your expectations. Also, they normally first test out new stuff in public beta versions, and no IL-2 Korea support has appeared in those, so it seems very unlikely that they will publish a properly tested version on or before August 4th. There is a small chance that they will release a beta version with support, but then the risk of bugs is high. I would just assume that DirectFFB is it for the short term. And here is an invite that should be valid for a month: https://discord.gg/DVWP4VsG7 Keep in mind that the forum is shared with the sim racing community, so watch where you post. We have a lot of people that post in the wrong place. Quote What do people on the Moza Discord think about this? People keep asking for Korea support and complaining about the lack of communication. And there are also just people who do the best with what they got, like here: https://discord.com/channels/976306826947743766/1520101792988397752/1520101792988397752 Edited July 28 by Aapje 1 1

We haven't had anything new release (outside indie titles) since Moza got into the game. They have ups and downs with their software. Often improving 1 thing but messing up something else. I think the g-force effect was broken for 6+ months, for example. All that to say, I'm not expecting a quick update with support for it but I'd love to be surprised!

The more reports about this, the faster they'll be knocking on their developers' doors to add it. Aapje Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Keep in mind that they are fairly new to flight simming hardware and they are releasing a crazy amount of hardware. So their developers both have to constantly add support for new hardware, and also suffer from severe growing pains where they make decisions that get them into trouble because they are still learning. They regularly talk about having to redo parts of the code because certain demands were not known to them. It's also quite obvious that DCS and MSFS users are a larger part of their consumers base, if you just look at the Discord activity. Of course you can try to apply pressure, but just be a bit realistic about how things are.

The fact that they're new may mean they have a special "Focus" for this market – they want to attract customers. I will say that the AB9 in the IL-2 GB, along with telemetry and Direct Imput (i.e., Integrated Mode), works very well. Home cockipt: GPU RTX5090, CPU i7 13900, RAM 64Gb. | Webmaster of yoyosims.pl. YoYo Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Btw. the 004 patch for Korea brings something new for FFB: CONTROLS AND DEVICES Fixed the inversion of force neutral offset direction during roll trimming on FFBeast joysticks—the neutral position of the control stick now shifts in the correct direction. Improved joystick reconnection after signal loss—for example, due to USB hub overload or temporary loss of device access. Reconnection is now faster and more stable, with fewer stutters. Improved the behavior of force feedback joysticks: neutral stick position and force now change more realistically during flight. Based on user feedback, the intensity and frequency of force feedback joystick vibration have been adjusted. Home cockipt: GPU RTX5090, CPU i7 13900, RAM 64Gb. | Webmaster of yoyosims.pl. YoYo Posted July 30 Posted July 30 I recived from Moza support about FFB base: "Thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in MOZA products! Regarding IL-2 Sturmovik: Korea, as the game is currently in Early Access, full support for DirectInput, telemetry, and official FFB profiles for the AB9 and AB6 bases cannot be confirmed at this moment. We will need to conduct full compatibility testing once the official game is officially released after August 4th. In the meantime, I have forwarded your feedback and request directly to our technical and software development teams so they can evaluate integrating support for IL-2 Korea into MOZA Cockpit in upcoming updates. Thank you for your support and understanding!" 2 3 Home cockipt: GPU RTX5090, CPU i7 13900, RAM 64Gb. | Webmaster of yoyosims.pl. VR flying only.
CzechTexan Posted August 2 Posted August 2 (edited) MS Sidewinder ForceFeedback 2 I had my settings at 100 but my joystick was more limp than it should have been. So, I did some research on the old forums and found some help in this link: https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/20154-ms-sidewinder-ii-ffb-settings/ Just thought this might be helpful to some new players. I remember when I got Great Battles I had the same problem and I used this same method. Papa Posted August 4 Posted August 4 (edited) FYI, Moza FFB is completely functional in Korea for me, and tbh feels much better than in GB, where effects felt very weak. I'm trying to vibecode at least a piston/jet profile switch atm. Edit: I vibecoded automatic Moza preset switch on aircraft load. Edited August 5 by Papa

lefuneste Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Hello. I m using a rhino and the spring effect is now very weak since the 1.0. It was fine in the pre release version.

It's strange, on Moza the effects are very strong, my strength on Ab9 is reduced by up to 70%, although it's still too much. Thanks for the feedback. I'm speaking on the "spring" effect, that is the force on the joystick when you pull or push it. Are you mentioning the same effect ?
YoYo Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Yes. The Spring effect is present, but in Moza you can also configure it in the software. Home cockipt: GPU RTX5090, CPU i7 13900, RAM 64Gb. | Webmaster of yoyosims.pl. VR flying only.
