Please pay attention that SimShaker Wings now features (as another option) its own Sound Module with extended audio functions.

So I can create a template that applies settings that are shared for all planes, but then I can change 1 or 2 settings for individual planes as required.

Currently a preset for a new plane is created from the last flown plane preset. I'm not sure what is the best for most players - to use a special global preset or to use the latest one. On the one hand, both can be programmed to suit the user's preferences. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to add too many options that are difficult to comprehend and navigate. Now to the essence of your question. I think in the current implementation if you unmark the checkbox AC Type Presets IL2 on the Advanced Option tab it will load a common IL-2 preset IL_2_Great_Battles.xml which can be used as a global template. Marking the checkbox back during the flight will create a new private preset if the plane is flown for the first time. It's probably not very convenient, but it's possible and worth trying.

Youtch Posted February 21 Posted February 21 For the second time today since I own the jetseat, upon shutting down the computer, all the motors of the jetseat start activating at the same time at maximum intensity, as soon as the computer was off, and the motors would not stop till I switched off the interruptor on the controller. Any reason why this could be happening? Last time this seems to have fried the controller. This time it seems that the controller is still working. Many thanks in advance, y.

I wouldn't say it's a common issue. Your computer may need grounding I guess. Please check that the controller audio slider switch is at 0 position. Try to switch off the seat before the computer to prevent damage.

There is a black mini slider with 3 positions but these positions are not marked. Does 0 correspond to the position closer to the dial or to the one closer the side of the controller?

kalerider1 Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Hi Andre I noticed that to save changes to profiles levels of feedback, eg bf109s flaps at 0%, I have to go into page where save option is and make a change on that page as well, eg deselect a motor checkbox then select it again, otherwise the save option is greyed out. A small issue but thought you might like to know. I also seemed to not be able to overwrite other profiles with a currently open profile, eg use the bf109 f4 profile to make changes to other 109 profiles using the save as feature. The changes didn't get applied? Not sure if that's the correct way to do it? Not a big deal as I can just change them individually anyway.

Ah, no. The matter is a bit complicated, sorry. The changes in the general settings tab are stored automatically, in some cases right after you made the change, and always when you close the app. Button's on the HF8 extended settings tab scope is the HF8 effects samples, but when you hit the Save All [samples] button it also saves game specific changes made on other tabs. La- Series & 109s have automatic slats that deploy at high AoA, and a subtle rumble or movement feedback on Buttkicker/HF8 would add a lot of immersion. From what I’ve seen in the community, the data could potentially exist as a normalized 0-1 value via telemetry or memory reading? Thanks in advance!

There is no such data in the telemetry data set. I do not use memory reading, sorry. 1

Does it mean that Simshaker now is able to recognize from telemetry data which plane is in use and switch profile automatically like Simshaker Aviator? You can enable/disable this feature on the Advanced options tab, in the Presets group, with AC Type Presets IL-2 checkbox. In the Settings Folder you will find a new folder named Type Profiles with these individually saved presets. 1

Да, если софту Moza позволить в его настройках автоматическую конфигурацию игры, то оно под себя исключительно его конфигурирует. У меня самого нет MOZA, но так как люди обращаются с этой проблемой, я поставил себе MOZA Cockpit и поисследовал этот вопрос. На мой взгляд, если изменить настройки MOZA Cockpit и SimShaker Wings как показано на скриншотах, то обе софтины должны получать телеметрию и быть довольны.

Если этого не происходит автоматически, то можно в startup.cfg вручную эти строки добавить и Моза скорее всего это перезаписывать не станет, когда ей вздумается снова залезть в startup.cfg. Только проверьте что Моза у себя запомнила то что порт теперь 29373, а не 5678. Была жалоба на то что Моза не запоминает изменения, но у меня запомнила без проблем.
