Sepp33 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I was wondering where these two chaps went, I didn't see them collide until spectate mode! By the way I tried MicroSoft Flight Sim today and I hate it lol. The whole thing is way too slick, and feels completely soulless and sterile, a corporate focus group product, just like you'd expect from Microsoft. Especially after the grit and grime, Man vs Man, aerial bar fight of IL2 lol. 9

I would add War Thunder for selection of aircraft. I started with that sim, but quickly grew frustrated with the quest system of advancing to more interesting airplanes, and the incomprehensible mission planning interface. Plus the landscapes are cartoonish. IL2 is the best overall. 2

The earth in MSFS is bad, just generated from satellite pics. Go low level flying over a handcrafted map like Normandy 2.0 or Cold War Germany in DCS and You will see the difference. And by the way, if I want real weather I open the door and go outside. I admit, I don't like the Microsoft "Bug" Simulator. 1
