On the new Haluters web site I can see aircraft collections but how do i select single skin to down load?

You can use Bookmarks to add single skins to a private collection that you can sync to your system

When you've added all the skins you want to sync, click on "Bookmarked skins", click on "Copy HSDSync link", and add that to the small downloader on your system (HSDSync). Thereafter any skins that you bookmark will be synced to your system.

I downloaded the program but countinously get this error message:

How to solve?

Hello,

Just an old [very] old IL2 Flyer coming back to the fold. Much to relearn, and I have just recently topped up via Steam and now have all four of the WW1 series. Back in the old days, I had, and still have, Haluter's Skin Downloader for IL 2 Great Battles, and some years ago did download some interesting and excellent skins. I tried today, and all I get is 'Unable to connect to the server'. I have had a look in the Log File and get this:

Information>>THTTPS.GetText(): Downloading https://skins.combatbox.net/planes.txt

Information>>THTTPS.GetText(): Result :

Error>>THTTPS.GetText() exception: Socket Error # 11001

 

Any help, please, for an ageing rocker returning to the fold.

Don't know about you guys, but I don't have a "bookmark" button in the new HSD. I would really like to be able to download only one skin at a time, but without the bookmark button, I don't see how I can.

I can see how to find existing ones, but how do I create a new one?

Sorry, I do not understand the new system.

My original downloader tells me "Unable to connect to server".

I loaded V.2.

V.2 obviously found skins, at least it shows me a list. Can't tell if it is really my list, I downloaded so many skins over the years.

But no new icon, nothing like a screen to choose and when I click on the old icon I got the message "Unable to connect to server" ... 🤷‍♂️

How can I operate the new version? I have no clue.

I have the same Problem and if i understood this correctly, this app isn´t for the purpose of getting your stuff like before instead use the site, thats how i have switched in behavior.  https://hsd-online.net/skins/
