taffy2 Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 (edited) Hi All, When I select a mod pack from Generic mod enabler it is not showing in the mission selection in main game, I have used the mod enabler many time in the past with no problems. Am I missing something, would appreciate some suggestions. I have mods enabled in the main game Cheers Edited December 10, 2025 by taffy2

In the mods folder it should look something like MODS\battle of britain modpack\data\etc. Mods turned on in game? Last is easy to overlook and catches everyone at some point. taffy2 Posted December 10, 2025 Author Posted December 10, 2025 Thanks for the advice, if it is a case of bad folder structure, should I reinstall the mod enabler Cheers

So you might have MODS/Battle of Britain mod pack/Battle of Britain mod pack/data/etc and then when you enable the mod the game cannot see it because it hasn't been copied to the correct location by JSGME or whatever you are using. The correct structure of a mod when it is in your mod folder should be something like (using an example from my IL2 install) E:\games\IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles\JSGME\MODS\AAAmod\data\other folders and files making up the mod. A common error is when a mod is unzipped you accidently get E:\games\IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles\JSGME\MODS\AAAmod\AAAmod\data\etc With the Battle of Britain mod enabled what do you see when you look in your IL2 data folder? Do you see a Battle of Britain folder? If so, then the above is your issue. The fix is to disable the mod first. Then essentially move the mod up one level ie again using my example of E:\games\IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles\JSGME\MODS\AAAmod\AAAmod\data\etc I would rename the first AAAmod folder to be something like AAAmodx and then move the second AAAmod folder to the MODS folder and then delete folder AAAmodx and then re-enable the mod.
