OneEye Gunsight for VR — right/left eye reticle

A small Mods On VR mod for IL‑2 Great Battles.

It renders BlendMask-based reflector gunsight reticles in only one eye:

• OneEye_Gunsight_Right — reticle in the right eye

• OneEye_Gunsight_Left — reticle in the left eye

Enable only one variant at a time through JSGME, with the game closed.

This is not ReShade and not an external program. It only replaces one game data file while enabled. Disabling/removing the mod restores the original shader and the normal two-eye display.

It should cover many WWII aircraft using BlendMask reflector sights, including common Revi, PBP‑1, N2A, Mk II, K‑14, Mark 8 and EZ‑42 types. It will not help with purely mechanical fixed sights, and some aircraft/stations may use a different rendering path.

Requirements / notes:

• Enable Mods On in IL‑2.

• Designed for VR and primarily intended for single-player use.

• Not tested for multiplayer.

• Use at your own risk; game updates or different VR runtimes/headsets may require retesting.

• Please report aircraft where it works, does not work, or affects another cockpit element.

Malý Mods On VR mod pro IL‑2 Great Battles.

Vykresluje reflectorový retikl využívající BlendMask pouze pro jedno oko:

• OneEye_Gunsight_Right — retikl v pravém oku

• OneEye_Gunsight_Left — retikl v levém oku

Přes JSGME zapínej vždy jen jednu variantu a pouze při vypnuté hře.

Nejde o ReShade ani o externí program. Mod při zapnutí nahradí jen jeden datový soubor hry. Po vypnutí/odebrání modu se obnoví původní shader a běžné zobrazení retiklu v obou očích.

Mod by měl pokrýt mnoho WW2 letadel s kolimátory využívajícími BlendMask — například běžné Revi, PBP‑1, N2A, Mk II, K‑14, Mark 8 a EZ‑42. Nepomůže u čistě mechanických pevných mířidel a některá stanoviště mohou používat jinou cestu vykreslování.

Poznámky:

• Ve hře musí být zapnuté Mods On.

• Je určený pro VR a především pro singleplayer.

• Multiplayer nebyl testován.

• Použití je na vlastní riziko; aktualizace hry nebo jiný headset/runtime mohou vyžadovat nové ověření.

• Napište prosím, u kterých letadel mod funguje, nefunguje nebo ovlivňuje jiný prvek kokpitu.

Interesting, will try, as my right eye is really impaired and I always have to tilt my head a little to be able to precisely center the reticle on target.
