Max speed needles invisible at night

The max speed needles in the F-80, F-86, and F-51 are invisible at night.

I don't know if this is realistic but, considering how important that needle is, I'd be surprised.

The F-84's needle is visible, albeit not very bright.

The MiG-15's needle is fine.
