France : P-80Cs as T-33 from Ecole de chasse

QR-34 is the mount of "Tanguy et Laverdure" in the comic "L'école des Aigles". Currently flying in France in this very shiny finish for "Top Gun Voltige" company.

And 314-VE was flying in the same Ecole de chasse until 1981, based in Tours, France, training fighter pilots.

Love the shiny metal work.  It's easy to see why the F80 was used as a trainer.  It's almost the jet version of the Hurricane.  Very docile and forgiving.

Actually, I learned while reading on T33 that , with about 1M longer fuselage, it was performing better than the single seat F-80,
