586th Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago so I wasn't seeing any English speaking (N-A) area Yak squadrons so I figured I'd start one. The 586th was the only female piloted Yak series squadron from the war. They were formed in 1941 by Marina Rashkova and produced multiple Heroes of the Soviet Union.
