"Rec"

When I am filming a flight while it is also recording a track, I am stuck with that ugly red "Rec" in the upper right.

Nvidia also has a recording symbol in the lower left, however it is not in the recording video.

It'd be nice for the "Rec" symbol to have that same behavior.

Or, a option setting that make the "Rec On" show up for a second and then go away.  And when you turn it off, "Rec Off" for a second or two.  
That would allow clean recordings in-between.
