F.E.2b Template anywhere?

I suppose JollyJack that you used the Rise of Flight template. Unfortunatly there quite a bit of differences with the Flying Circuss 3D model.

Currently I'm slowly sorting out the buggs. It's still not finished yet but I thought you deserved to see my poor progress.

Two days struggling with differences between Rise of Fligt template and Flying Circuss 3D model...

One exemple among many:

The canvas panel has been moved on the left side of the nacelle, some lines have changed, I could have let it as it was but the 3D model with lighting would have shown these errors in the skin...

Yep, just a quicky, sorry for not checking it out more 😁 PS someone removed the link, but i mentioned that it was adapted from the RoF version.

ADDED: Got curious: i don't know what's wrong above; just tested it, the RoF wireframe from my adapted template over a default Fe2b skin from Flying Circus::

Yeah you can clearly see that the mesh from RoF is approching but slightly different from the Flying Circuss default skin.

So there a lot of adaptation to do in order to have a "good" template and skin.

I've asked LukeFF if the dev could publish the official template for Flying Circuss the response from the dev was disapointing: "there is no official template for the FE2b"!😐

So back to the job of correcting your template wich was a good base to start by the way.😉

OK, thanks for pointing it out. When ready i am curious and would like to use it.

The days are gone of the quality templates made by the likes of Black Hellhound, Rap, Martin. Since Korea our GB stuff is out of the picture it seems for quite qa few weeks.

Myself been messing a wee bit with Livery making for DCS, and it's quite a bit more complicated there.

Ok Guys here is the template for the FE2b wich is an adaptation from the Rise of Flight template to Fying Circuss.

If anyone want to improve and improve it feel free to do it and share it with the community of skinners.

Hi FAW_Tromplamort, I think the credits must go to the maker of the RoF template actually ..... i only blew it to 4k, and corrected some small fry 🫠.
