Fewer 'airshow' smoke effects

We see these 'airshow display' smoke effects almost 100% of the time you damage an aircraft.

Ever see a piston engine plane with a coolant or oil leak?  They smoke, a LOT  The only issue I have with the smoke is the color and the origin.  The coolant has a green hue to it but it typically would be coming right back along the fuselage.  Fuel leaks from punctured tanks on the wings are usually white/opaque (depending on altitude) and oil leaks onto the hot engine/manifold looks like a white smoke grenade until it ignites.
