Cockpit view FOV Angle Adjustment

Gentlemen, I have a question... why is it that even after setting the pilot's position in the cockpit, closing the canopy causes my pilot to shift forward—much like adjusting the seat closer to the instrument panel—which, in my opinion, significantly reduces the FOV? This effect didn't happen in *IL-2: Great Battles*. Is there a specific setting in *Korea* to fix this?

Best!

Did you adjust the pilot's head position initially with the canopy open or closed?

Is the Vr or a monitor?

I use TrackIR with a monitor and have never experienced this.

It’s definitely really strange... If I set my pilot position with the canopy open, I got push forward when I close it... And with the canopy closed, I can't move as far back as I can when it's open... I use TrackIR with a 43" UHD monitor.

Set it up with the canopy closed, in flight, with the aircraft set to auto level.  See if that fixes it.

Sounds like the head movement restriction is part of the canopy, and your desired head position is too far back than is allowed. So if you close the cockpit, your head gets pushed forward to be in the allowed space.

Think they restricted it tighter because the pilots body is now part of the scenery, and if you drift to far off the mark the decapitated neck begins to show.

In GB  when canopy is open you can't move forward, but when it's closed you can move forward significantly more.

Reading ur point Dash..... make some sense.. however, when I perform the test after setting the pilot's position in the cockpit with the canopy open.. I turn my gaze to 6 o'clock, execute the command to close the canopy, and my pilot isn’t projected forward.. only when I turn to 12 o'clock does the aircraft panel come much closer to the panel.. It´s makes me think that there might be some possible bug?
