Not sure if it would be IL2:Korea proof? Any thoughts on VR performance from the specs? Thanks in advance.

Cost is £2500 in the UK

That is basically the highest performance you can get without totally blowing up your budget with a 5090/4090. You can't get better VR performance without going for one of those.

I don't keep track of the current system prices, so I have no idea whether this is good value compared to other options. The 5080 used to be worse price/performance than the 5070 Ti, but they've apparently cut down on the production of the latter, that caused the prices of those to go up, so the 5080 may now be the better option.

The 9850X3D is bad value compared to the 9800X3D in the shops, but again I don't know how your system compares to other options.

I could maybe add that a 850W powerplant is not ideally future proof.

Imagine you go for a 5090 (6090?) in two years or so, you are on the saver side using a 1000 or 1200W. Not much more expensive I‘d guess and enables you to upgrade plug&play.

If you are able to change a powerplant yourselfes it‘s maybe not a big issue.

Yeah, the availability of 1000 plus PSU's and cost comparisons you'd be better off going for one, they're pretty much the baseline standard these days.
