Career points commander

Why are the pilots I spend career points on getting their stats increased while I received over 8 medals and not a single stat increased. 
 

That’s just weird….

I suppose stats affect behaviour of the AI Pilot. You fly your missions, so having more discipline, courage or skill points will not affect your performance. Anyway I wouldn't link stats of the pilot to medals recieved. I think medals should be given to the pilots if they flyed enough missions or destroyed certain number of targets or have been wounded... Stats should improve by experience, perhaps even making some pilots more capable to improve their stats than others.

If the stats only affect the AI why do we even have it? Dont really understand where they are going with this system.

You don't have stats, only boosters, that violet numbers. They suppose to boost stats of all pilots in your flight. But how they work and if they work i don't know.
