Salute! Big shout out to Dmitry Astakhov and others at 1C Tech Support for working with me to get IL2 Series Korea properly installed and working on my PC.

Background: I worked with a local IT company to build a custom gaming rig including an NVIDIA 5070 graphics card in preparation for Korea which I was really looking forward to playing.  Unfortunately, after installing the game, I ran into series of glitches, errors, and problems that prevented me from playing it.  I have been playing combat flight simulation games for over 25 years going back to Microprose European Air War and I never had as many problems getting a new game to work as I had with Korea.  Problems included: (1) A "phantom" Axis Y CH Pro Throttle USB command came up every time in the window for mapping a button/lever/switch for a new command ; (2) I clicked Play but the game would not launch and I got error messages (3) The game would lock up when I tried to exit resulting in "Error. Config Errors Found. Saved to CFGPool.log; (4) Game would not start and I'd get a strange error "CameraMan.dll is either not designed to run on Windows 11 or it contains and error

So I contacted Tech Support, described my various problems, and sent screenshots of any error messages that appeared.  Tech Support patiently worked with me to analyze each problem and recommend solutions such as turning off my BitDefender antivirus program and doing several reinstalls.  Fingers crossed, it now seems to be running in a stable condition. 

The Forum is great for speculating about new planes, arguing about the effectiveness of .50 caliber machine-gun rounds, or getting aircraft-specific tactics, techniques, and procedures advice, but if you have serious problems like I did contacting 1C Tech Support is the way to go!
