AA indestructible?

Ive got thousands of hours on IL2GB and I've destroyed thousands of AA guns. Im finding it very difficult to see and kill AA guns in IL2 Korea.

I was covering a IL10 on Combat Box this evening....he attacked 2 AA guns repeatedly and I went in after him to try with a LA11......absolutely no success. Does anyone else find the AA difficult to see and kill?

I've shot up lots of them with the F84 and F51.  Perhaps the mission makers on Combat Box have adjusted the AA guns destructability number higher than the default one in the mission builder?  You can actually take out the gun crew without "blowing up" the gun itself.  Napalm works well too.

And any hassles spotting them?... they are pretty much invisible until the last second for me.

AA is pretty obvious to me. No issues spotting, and no issues destroying.

Generally, light fire to AAA will damage something or scatter the crew, and that's enough. There's no explosion like in the IL-2GB. There was a thread about this a while back, but it died:

Difficult to see, yes. Especially in VR, they don't load until you are pretty close up.

 

To kill, probably not. Like others said, you shouldn't expect an explosion like in GB, the troops will scatter and the gun might stay there.

I was strafing some AA yesterday in the Wing Walkers server, the F80's machineguns were performing just fine. There's no explosion, though. No smoke. If you see smoke, that means the gun is still shooting at you 😄

There's also a bug (online only I believe) where a 'killed' AAA continuously shoots into the air at nothing.
