BlitzPig_EL Posted August 11 Posted August 11 (edited) Mig-15 UTI? Ha!!! Called it! Edited August 12 by BlitzPig_EL
Avimimus Posted August 11 Posted August 11 MiG-15BisR? The opportunity to work as an aircraft maintainer? 1

Avimimus Posted August 11 Posted August 11 I know! It is a fly simulator! A first person simulator where we can be a fly and fly around the airbase!
YoYo Posted August 11 Posted August 11 I can clearly see the gaps in modeling. 1 Home cockipt: GPU RTX5090, CPU i7 13900, RAM 64Gb. | Webmaster of yoyosims.pl. VR flying only.

Kemnilov Posted August 11 Posted August 11 (edited) If it's not the early MiG-15, maybe MiG-9 then? Edited August 11 by Kemnilov

I'm guessing it was an early MiG-15. Home cockipt: GPU RTX5090, CPU i7 13900, RAM 64Gb. | Webmaster of yoyosims.pl. VR flying only.
JL1 Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Google AI photo search thinks it is an early version MiG-15 (before the Bis release). I think that is correct since that would make the most sense in the career to fill a gap for the MiGs flown by the North Koreans and Chinese. It would be great if the F-86 E/F would be released as well. 1 CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-Core Processor GPU: RTX 5090 RAM: 96 Gb DDR5 SSD: WD Black 4TB SSD & WD Black 8TB SSD Monitor: LG 48-Inch OLED evo C4 Series Smart TV 4K HOTAS - Virpil Trackir 5
FuriousMeow Posted August 11 Posted August 11 (edited) It kind of matches a MiG-17 nose but I dismissed that as there were none in the Korean War unless the devs have some super secret info. It could also just be more advanced rendering capabilities they came across. Or something more mundane, to me at least, built-in gun cam recordings. Edited August 11 by FuriousMeow
Avimimus Posted August 11 Posted August 11 I do wonder if they could also be rebaking the models from high detail master files? Could be an optional graphics upgrade? (not that we need it nor that most of our computers could run it - but there will always be someone with a 5090 asking the devs to push the limits even further into more insane levels of detail). That said - I wonder if they'll announce the Mig-15 and F-86E/F as part of the DLC? If so, then we'd only have three carrier capable aircraft.
Gunfreak Posted August 12 Posted August 12 That's obviously a 1949 Buick truck. And this is a tank crew 2 reveal. 2
actionhank Posted August 12 Posted August 12 I love clues...even though they constantly remind me that I have no idea what I'm looking at 90% of the time.
BlitzPig_EL Posted August 12 Posted August 12 That fastener head is really more detailed than the current Mig 15 model, so perhaps a super high res detail pass on all the models?
Uther Posted August 12 Posted August 12 If it is an earlier MiG (and Sabre) shouldn't they have been released first... 9800X3D / Asus Radeon RX 7900 XT TUF OC / Corsair Vengeance EXPO 64GB / W11
Felipe_Czar Posted August 12 Posted August 12 (edited) Zooming into the image, there is a clear movement blur due to a real camera shutter speed which may be handheld in this case. I believe it makes it a photograph of a real plane rather than a render. Also having a background with some objects increases its likelihood. Edited August 12 by Felipe_Czar
