B29s just circle target and no enemies show up

Restarted the campaign, did the same mission. Except for there being 8 bomber instead of 4. Same thing happens, bombers start circling out of formation and nothing seems to happen. If I fly home. I get mission failed

I've seen the same thing.  I've tried different squadrons to no avail.  It also happens if you do the "Quick mission" in the Task Editor.  B-29s circling aimlessly...they look like they keep misaligning heading towards the target....try and reposition...and fail again.  And never any MiGs.

 

It's making an F-86 career kinda unplayable...at least historically.  As F-86As didn't do that much ground-pounding.
