Hey folks.

I want to share a story with you.

In 1952, my great uncle was shot down while flying armed recon in an F-51D Mustang with the 67th Fighter Bomber Squadron. He was declared missing and later assumed dead.

Last year I put my grandpa, who was very close with him, in the P-51D in Great Battles in VR. It absolutely blew his mind.

but 2 days ago, I put him in the F-51D in Il-2 Korea. I showed him around K-46 airbase, the base my great uncle was flying out of when he was killed. My grandfather was able to see the base and actually visualise it rather than read it on a document.

He has been watching me fly a commander career with the 67th Fighter Bomber Squadron and actually able to visualise our family members war.

devs, thank you. I am so, so happy with this sim. You guys are excellent and are bringing life to the forgotten war.

I am deploying soon myself and am going to keep making tutorial videos even down range. You guys are EXCELLENT.

I think the Korean theater choice was spot on. I really liked the idea from the start, and in fact, the last one I played was probably MiG Alley... so it's been a while since I've played a war in the skies over Korea on PC.
