IL-2 Korea Commands Profile for VoiceAttack (Broken)

A few instances where unwanted "any" words were found & have been removed (example: "pair. engage any enemy jets" now changed to "pair. engage enemy jets" to mirror the commands on the plates).

Before installing v1.1, delete the original profile whilst VoiceAttack is open (ALT + D) then after unzipping the latest v1.1.rar, use VoiceAttack to import v1.1 (ALT + I).

For use with VoiceAttack; a complete set of over 990 commands, covering all engagement, flight, tasking & munitions instructions for Wingman, Wingmen Pair, 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Flights & entire Group. Also comes with a handy set of 11 plates listing all spoken commands. Plates are compatible with OpenKneeboard.

To install, unzip the IL-2_Korea_Commands_for_VoiceAttack.rar. Open VoiceAttack & select 'Import' (or simply press ALT + I) & navigate to the 'IL-2KoreaCommandsProfile-Profile.vap' file from this download.

It is with the greatest frustration after almost a solid weeks worth of evenings work that I have to announce that the release & day one patch has all but broken most of the commands here in this VoiceAttack profile. Almost all the Formation commands have been taken away completely, all the engage orders have been completely stripped back so the "at close range", "within sight", "at medium range", "at long range" have all disappeared which in turn means that very few of the commands will not work.

Yes I know we must expect subtle changes as the sim progresses & maybe I should've waited but this is one huge change that has stripped most of the interesting command nuances (probably down to the below par AI responses). Apologies to all that have downloaded this, tried it & have been disappointed by todays changes. 😞

Have only been disappointed with Voice Attack not properly hearing me. Must be my terrible Dutch accent.

No such thing as a terrible Dutch accent 😆

It’s always recommended that, before using VoiceAttack, you use the windows software voice recognition to train it to get to know your voice by reading a pre defined passsage of text. This really does help immensely.

Yes did that already several times but I see or hear 🙃 very little to no improvement.

For one thing, it's now completely broken because the last patch saw a massive amount of these commands changed & deleted so this profile is all but useless I'm afraid; & secondly, the zip file comes complete with 10 plates listing all the spoken phrases in handy kneeboard-typre style layout. 🙂

Indeed I wasnot paying much attention when I installed it. Found the plates listing. Very handy. 

So it's broken ? Sorry for the work you put into that. I think voice attack is an obvious complement to this command feature.

Are you considering updating the profile when the game has stabilized ? What do the dev have to say about it ?

LukeFF has confirmed the following:

"Some of the commands have been removed until they can be refined further."

 

I am working on a new updated profile & accompanying plates to incorporate all the changes & will upload in the next few days but am obviously a little concerned that maybe I'm still jumping the gun with such an undertaking & it's still too early whilst the changes are being made on a daily basis but it's a gamble, we shall see.
