There's a few things that I would have thought would be restricted under 'Full Real' but, at this time, they're not. They mainly fall into the category of 'things the pilot shouldn't know'

Ammo+payload counter, G-tolerance, radar altitude etc on the HUD, but also the 'Systems Menu' which seems to be a developer tool escaped from the laboratory, and gives the player God-like knowledge of his aircraft.

Will any of these elements be restricted in future?

Why would you not allow G tolerance as a full real aspect?  We obviously could get real seat of the pants feedback so there's nothing unreal about displaying the amount of force being leveraged against your brain stem via numerical value.

I didn't mean the player's dynamic g-tolerance per se, but the game-like 'energy bar' on the HUD.

Well perhaps that can be like a feeling if you are more or less tired. Perhaps that and the Gs are the only aspects oh the HUD that I find acceptable as "Full real" difficulty. But I agree totally that systems menu and the rest of the HUD should have the option to be eliminated in full real difficulty servers.

That's already relayed to the player by how quickly, or easily, they succumb to G-forces. After a few high-G manoeuvres the players G-tolerance is severely reduced; you don't need an energy bar to notice it.

Plus there's the audio cues - laboured breathing gives way to heavy panting the more aggressively you fly. All these obviate the need for an energy bar.

What is your actual ask? Do you want it to be restricted on MP servers, so other people cannot take advantage of it? Because in SP, you can just turn it off.

In MP, yes.

At the moment virtually everything is permitted.

Clearly, servers should have the option to disable specific parts of the HUD. Currently "full real" servers still have arcade style HUDs enabled.

However, I would hope that servers leave the accelerometer and "tiredness" meter available - because these are things that a real pilot can feel. Due to the current physiology modelling (that I disagree with), managing G-tolerance is important, and more-so for the red side.

Really no point from a realism perspective in turning off the HUD when everyone still has access to most of that same information like ammo remaining, exact fuel remaining with distribution, and so on with even greater detail on the aircraft systems page.   It's basically rendered pointless.

Then restrict both.

Trust me - when I'm King the systems page is the first under the axe!
