Commander Career Air Victories vs. Enemy Aircraft Destroyed

My air kills in my Commander Career are not being registered in the Squadron Statistics under the "Enemy Aircraft Destroyed" box. However, they are being recorded in the Pilot Profile as "Air Victories". Am I missing something? When my AI squadron mates fly missions I am not present on, their kills are recorded in the "Enemy Aircraft Destroyed" box, but when my wingmates and I fly missions, our kills are never recorded there. 

There has to be something I am not understanding about the recording of stats.

I think it's called "Early Access".

Lots of little details need ironed out.  Let's see what happens on the 4th. upon the actual release.

Anything that seems to not be working as expected should be reported in the technical issues/bugs section.

What kind of response is this? I'm very aware it is "Early Access". Thanks for the groundbreaking info. All I did was ask a question, why am I getting condescending replies?

 

I wasn't sure this was a bug so I wanted to see if I was interpreting something wrong. Maybe it meant aircraft on the ground destroyed? I have no idea. If this is a bug, I would have thought complaints about it would be all over the bug report forum....as there is not much point in a Career if your kills aren't being tallied. I saw one single post about it over a week ago in the bug report forum so it made me believe that maybe it was some kind of issue on my own end.

I know this. I wasn't sure that it is actually a bug. I thought maybe I was interpreting something wrong.

If it gets reported there, it gets dev attention. Asked here, when there's clearly a difference between what is expected and what's happening won't get their attention.

None of us can tell you for certain what should happen because we don't have the access to the code to see what should be happening.

I can tell you that I've had ground aircraft destroyed count simply as aircraft destroyed just like an air destruction.

Just telling you to report it there because sometimes a report gets looked at, devs may think it's fixed, no one else reports after its been looked at/thought fixed and so the issue remains.

Many bugs only show up in some very specific cases. Others go unnoticed (maybe the statistics page is barely being looked at). Yet others go unreported, because the player doesn't care enough to spend the effort. So if there's no or few posts about something, it doesn't mean it's not a bug.

In this case, it does sound like a bug, or perhaps a missing feature. It should be OK to report it in the bugs forum. If you do, make sure to mention all relevant details, such as squadron and date.

I haven’t seen this but I am flying a F-51 career and my squadron has only a single AA kill and that was in a mission I didn’t fly. The only aircraft I encountered in flight where Mig15’s and none where shot down by my boys. So not surprising I never encountered this issue.
