Bulldog Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Think it was the very first voice synthesis module. Very cutting edge in 1982.
Cardolan Posted September 16 Posted September 16 (edited) I started with Spitfire '40 on the ZX Spectrum a loooong time ago (as in 1986, when most of you were not born yet)... this Spitifre '40 btw! For the curious, down below are 2 very high definition pictures of the game: As for IL-2... I am a long time fan of the original IL2 by Oleg Maddox back in 1999 or 2000, together with a third party program that randomly generated missions. Considering FB, I keep playing and returning to this sim because of the single player career and the immersion provided by the quality of the simulation. That's what makes or brakes the game for me. I avoid any simulators without campaigns with random missions. I know I am missing out a few great simulators but for me the point is to fly the kites immersed in a non scripted campaign.
