How to add enemy units using "add targets" ?

Hello

I would like to test some ship attack. But when in the quick mission editor, when I use the "add targets" feature and when i check "ships" the quick mission editor doesn't add anything to the missions (I tested other types of target it does nothing either) what am I doing wrong ? I didn't find any info on the web for this problem... Maybe the option is not implemented yet....

If it is, would someone be kind enough to explain me how to do it ? or maybe give me a link for a tutorial or something (i prefer to use the quick mission editor, the mission editor tool look to complicated for me. Thanks again !
