Mouse cockpit view

Sometimes I just don't want to put my VR headset on to test stuff.  Unfortunately though, I seem to have knackered my mouse view settings - using the mouse to look around in-cockpit.

I have tried the mouse in the up/down/left/right settings ibut it doesn't seem to work.  if I go to external views the mouse works fine.  There may well be some kind of setting somewhere that I have disabled.

Any suggestions?
