ShamrockOneFive Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Ran into an interesting situation with career mode in IL-2 Series Korea that may constitute a bug. I'm several missions in and still getting the grips with everything. My unit started to run low on fuel and other supplies so I made the maximum allowable amount of resupply requests to get us back into operation. The problem? An enemy air raid interrupted the delivery because we didn't have enough fuel to take off. The first image attached is what my supplies looked like when submitting the request. The second image shows no supplies left and no resource requests remaining. At this point I can advance the date but I'm unable to launch any missions as no supplies will ever be delivered to enable a mission to be flown to generate the credit to request more supplies. Its kind of an endless loop. This is probably a grey area between bug and working as designed but it feels like there needs to be some sort of designed resolution for this. A failure or an emergency resupply to get you back up and running.
Aapje Posted July 26 Posted July 26 I think that advancing the date should also generate some credits.

I'm talking about a change that I think should be made, not something that is already implemented. Aside from fixing this no-win condition that seems unacceptable to me, it also seems more realistic for resources to be distributed partly based on the amount of missions assigned/performed by the unit, but also partly based on the passage of time. Because a base will also use resources if they don't fly combat missions. 1
