On that day, massive forces of armor, aircraft, and infantry clashed along a narrow stretch of the front. The fighting took place at extremely close range amidst intense fire, smoke, and virtually ceaseless attacks. Prokhorovka became a symbol of the courage, resilience, and immense effort with which the Red Army held back the enemy offensive on the Kursk Salient. This event also holds a special place for the IL-2 game series. Our projects are dedicated to such battles, the people who fought in them, and the machinery they used, allowing players to connect with history and experience the scale of the air and ground warfare of that era. Today, we honor everyone who took part in the fighting at Prokhorovka and across other sectors of the Battle of Kursk. 12 3 5
