BlitzPig_EL Posted July 5 Posted July 5 (edited) Been working on a DF mission for my guys, so far I have 3 AI flights, 4 Tu2s to bomb some positions, supposedly escorted by 2 La11s on a similar course. I have them set up just like I did flights in GB. Also a flight of 4 F86 that I want to patrol an interior area. Mission starts and all the flights completely ignore the waypoints and Command Attack Area MCUs and just fly off randomly. What am I missing here? Edited July 5 by BlitzPig_EL
Habu Posted July 5 Posted July 5 Check the timer which activate the first waypoint. Maybe the timer is set before the spawn or the activation of the plane which explain that the waypoint command is run before the plane can receive it. I use a flight of 18 TU2 which spawn and bomb an airfield, than go away with waypoint activation with On Bingobomb, and it works. For information, we can't use our old groups. Many things have been added. I tried, but i had some error. So i have to build my group from scratch.
BlitzPig_EL Posted Sunday at 09:16 PM Author Posted Sunday at 09:16 PM I did find out about the old groups not working earlier. Too bad.
Jaegermeister Posted Wednesday at 03:24 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:24 AM Logic groups from GB work, blocks and vehicles do not. You can import some groups but not others, so it is more effective just to start over with all new groups. You will get an error message when loading the mission if you try to use groups that do not work in Korea. Ryzen 7 7800X3D l 32GB DDR5-6000 l RX 7900 XTX 24GB l HP Reverb G2
Juri_JS Posted Wednesday at 03:56 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:56 AM I had an issues with waypoints being ignored when enabling "AI return to base decision". Apparently this happens when the AI thinks it hasn't enough fuel to return to it's base. Increasing fuel fixed the problem. In all these cases fuel should have been enough, so maybe there is something wrong with the AI's fuel calculations.

It would surely be helpful to the devs if you can share that with them.
