I have a new 8X pimax, and a question for you all.

  I have a like new Pimax8k Headset..   Should I sell it, and jump into a clarity model? 

I have a stout I9 system.

Hyperdrive SSD

64 GB of Ram . 

  I am however pretty new to VR, and the tech surrounding it,  I dont want to throw away money , if the 8k is sufficient.

Right now if it's running good no need for a quick upgrade, the higher res headsets aren't able to gain much advantage anyway.   

I have to run mine at much reduced settings and resolution along with reprojection on to get smooth game play, game looks and runs worse than Great Battles with my PCL even with much reduced settings.   Game seems to do fine for those with older lower res sets.

 I made the mistake of buying that damn Pimax 8K when they came out, and I will never fly without VR again..  Dammit!   As a person who has done a lot fo flying in his past, the only thing I cannot adjust to in VR is not feeling the G's   after about two hours of flying I landed my 190, as those brake moaned, and I slowed to a stop, damned if I didnt surge forward.....  I still dont know how my brain pulled that one off..   That was my first experience in VR, and their aint no turning back now  : P

 VR made me realize how bad I need to build a high end rudder pedal.. But you are correct,  but the motion sickness gets me after 2 hours..  I did a lot of flying in my youth, and young adult years, I think it is the lack of G's that gets to me...  I miss RL flying, It just got too damned expensive to keep up with..    I thought owning a boat was bad, until I watched my Step Dad  own many many aircraft.  He still flies, but  in the earlier years it was all  HP, VIntage, and Aerobatic  aircraft,  I was definately blessed, until I started shopping for a Yak 52 😬
