Gunsight brightness

I've seen it mentioned in other "First Impressions" threads but thought it good to have a specific thread.

IMHO the projected image (Pipper etc.) is too dim and almost impossible to see against any type of light background. I'm talking clouds and bright sky, not against the sun. I do have the sight brightness cranked to 100%. I'm using Pimax Crystal VR.

Full bright at night is not even remotely close to any kind of bright light, the maximum output of light intensity is weak even at night, that's really bad.

Just wanted to add my two cents to this and say that I also struggle to see the gunsights in anything other than dark conditions. It's on 100% brightness and is still really pale and washed out. I've tried all of the US aircraft and the Mig15 so far. The Mig's was probably the best, but not by very much.
